THE NEVERMIND SESSIONS
September 24, 2011 marks twenty years to the day since Nirvana released Nevermind, and on this anniversary we would like to share our tribute to the album that arguably got us started in a rock band.
The Nevermind Sessions was recorded & mixed over a three week period and features Mike Litzinger (vocals, guitar, bass) with longtime bandmate Steve Gramley (drums, backing vocals) and special guest Sadie Litzinger (strings on Something In The Way) paying homage to Nirvana's masterpiece. While this recording could be viewed as merely a vanity project, we hope that others enjoy our tribute to one of the greatest and most influential albums, and bands, of all time. Please listen now to the direct stream or click the album cover to download the album plus printable PDF liner notes as a complete ZIP archive.
If you enjoy this album which we freely offer as a tribute to Nirvana, please consider a donation to the Susie Tennant Fund. Susie Tennant formerly served as Nirvana's publicist, and was instrumental in helping break Nirvana in the early days. She is currently battling ovarian cancer, and the official Nevermind 20th anniversary events included a benefit concert to raise funds for this worthy cause.
